Volunteers in the Credit Issues Project of the Young Lawyers Division answered a high volume of callers' questions Sept. 28 about what teens and young adults need to know about responsible credit and debt management.

Chair Alex Chudoba, with SunTrust Mortgage, Chair-elect Ann Kossachev, with the National Association of Federally-Insured Credit Unions, and Robert Vaughan III, with Robert T. Vaughan Jr., P.C., and Matt Jones, with CapCenter, participated in the Call-12 segment on NBC-Channel 12 News. The video promo features an interview with Ann Kossachev, an introduction by anchor Curt Autry and reporting by Diane Walker.

"This opportunity was a fantastic way to see what consumers are dealing with and provide real assistance to the public," Chudoba said.

The program's producer said the Credit Issues Project segment was among the top Call-12 programs in garnering viewer calls.

The project volunteers have created an informational brochure, Introduction to Credit, to assist young consumers.
